furnished tourist apartments.
They built them with their hearts and improved them year after year to turn them into 4-star accommodations, labeled with 4 keys by CléVacances. In the meantime, they shared their passion with other hosts and became travel agents, specializing in vacation rentals, from studios and apartments to high-end and luxury villas, catering to all needs and budgets.
We have been renting and returning every year for over 15 years to our studio rental, Vue Turquoise Parasol, in Tartane, which, for us, is unmatched elsewhere. Here, we feel like we are at home, and it feels like coming back to visit close friends. More than just hosts, Karine and Jean-Marc have become like family to us in the Caribbean. All the apartments have their own swimming pools—that’s pure luxury. The luxury also includes the view, the comfort, and the large terrace with exotic wood decking, a parasol, and a latanier leaf roof. The kitchen on the terrace is the ultimate getaway experience. It is fully equipped for two people, including a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, griddle, and refrigerator. There’s also a beautiful table and chairs, a hammock for enjoying views of the sea and the pool, a lounge area with a chaise longue, sun loungers, and comfortable chairs. Inside, your apartment has a bedroom with a super-comfortable 160cm bed with a sea view, and a chaise longue that can also be used as a third bed. An open bathroom space with a washbasin and Italian shower, and a silent air conditioner ensures we have the best vacation, even in our dreams.

From our apartment or studio rental, we take the time to live at the rhythm of the Caribbean, lulled by the waves and the ocean.
We love Tartane for its authenticity, its atmosphere, the warmth of its people, the seaside accommodations, its homes, and its suspended dwellings. The fishermen sell their fish at the market stalls and retrieve lobsters on request from their crates in the back. The yawls sway at their moorings, and pelicans hover nearby. The seaside school is vibrant with colorful activity—singing, shouting, playing, and living. The Tartane islet across the way feels like a lookout point, extending from the pier where some sailboats dock for a stay in Tartane’s harbor. Walking along the waterfront, we pass by the church, filled at every Sunday mass and for other ceremonies. There’s the old Hardy Distillery and its famous Tartane rum. Here on this peninsula, there are more beaches than anywhere else. We love strolling from beach to beach and cove to cove. Tartane’s beaches don’t envy those in the south; they are more secretive, and that’s for the best. There’s the beach at La Brèche, the beautiful beach at Anse l'Étang, and we finally reach the famous surfers' beach that extends into the nature reserve, offering breathtaking and surprising panoramas. Afterward, we reach the Caravelle Lighthouse, which feels like it’s watching over all of Martinique and gazing out over Dubuc Castle, Treasure Bay, and Galion Bay. Tartane is the perfect place to stay and spend your vacation as a couple, with family, or with friends.
